Sidney Gutierrez Schools
Located in Roswell, New Mexico, Sidney Gutierrez Schools is a learning community dedicated to the pursuit of intellectual growth, social-emotional preparedness, and commitment to society.
The school originally launched as a grades 6-8 middle school in 2001, serves students citywide, and has historically been one of the best performing public schools in New Mexico.
In response to strong community demand for the school to serve more students, Excellent Schools New Mexico provided startup capital to help Sidney Gutierrez Schools expand from grades 6-8 to grades K-8. Sidney Gutierrez Schools is a NMPED designated "Spotlight School", ranking among the highest-performing public schools in New Mexico.
