Altura Prep​
Located in Albuquerque, Altura Prep is a STEAM- (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) focused school that intentionally aims to serve a diverse population of students.
Altura Prep was founded by Lissa Hines, a Blue Ribbon Award-winning principal who started her teaching career at Albuquerque Public Schools, and Albuquerque native Meaghan Hindman, who has ten-plus years of experience teaching in and leading high-performing public schools.
Excellent Schools New Mexico provided startup capital to support the launch of Altura Prep. Altura Prep is a NMPED designated "Spotlight School", ranking among the highest-performing public schools in New Mexico.
